We process applications on a rolling admissions basis, meaning that we review and evaluate applications as they are submitted to our program rather than waiting until the deadline to begin the review process. We also award merit-based funding on a rolling basis, so it is to your advantage to apply early, as the availability of specific funding opportunities declines as the application season progresses.
Please use these recommended deadlines as guidelines for completing your application. Within two to four weeks of submitting a complete application, including all required supplementary materials, you will hear from the Admissions Committee regarding the outcome of its initial review.
Our recommended application deadlines for the 2010/2011 application year:
Round 1: As a reflection of our commitment to action-learning and global experiences as part of our MBA program, individuals who apply by the October 29th deadline, are offered admission to the program and matriculate as students will receive a $1,000 voucher that can be used during their time in the Fisher MBA program to support professional or academic travel (study abroad, elective treks, Emerging Market Field Study, conferences, etc.)
Round 2: Applicants who submit by this deadline and are offered admission to the program will automatically be considered for all merit-based funding opportunities available for MBA students. Some award packages are exclusively reserved for applicants who submit by December 15th, so we encourage you to submit early if funding is a strong consideration in your selection process.
Applications will be accepted after April 15th on a space available basis. Please feel free to submit an application after this date, as we will post a message on our website when applications are no longer being accepted for Autumn 2011.
Admission to the Fisher College of Business is contingent upon successful completion of the Kroll background verification. The background verification will include employment, education and reference verifications.

At the core of our mission is our dedication to developing leaders. Successful leaders have a number of shared characteristics, and we would like you to choose two out of the 10 attributes that best describe you, your leadership style, and/or your leadership successes to date:
Creativity
Communication Skills
Curiousity
Empathy
Endurance |
|
Global Outlook
Integrity
Passion
Self Awareness
Vision |
|
| |
Please provide us with clear evidence of your accomplishments for the two chosen attributes. You have three options for doing so:
Option 1: You may submit physical objects, images, photographs, or photocopies, along with brief descriptions of how these objects exemplify the leadership qualities you selected. For example, to illustrate endurance, you might share a copy of your marathon medal, along with a short paragraph describing this experience.
Option 2: You may choose to write an essay for each of the two characteristics you select, describing situations in which you exemplified these leadership traits. Maximum words per essay: 500
Option 3: You may combine options 1 and 2.
You may send objects to MBA Admissions, 100 Gerlach Hall, 2108 Neil Ave., Columbus, OH 43210. Please note that Fisher College will not be responsible for returning physical objects to applicants.
