Michael earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Communications from Northwestern University and his Master of Business Administration degree from the UCLA Anderson School of Management. Based on the strength of his UCLA Anderson School application, he was selected for a Dean's Fellowship that paid for his first year of business school. Fewer than 10% of those attending the Anderson School receive this award. Michael is also a member of the Association of International Graduate Admissions Consultants.
A gifted teacher, Michael received U.S. Congressional Recognition for his outstanding and invaluable service to the community and has taught business plan writing, stock market analysis, and life skills to high-potential, low-opportunity youths as part of the Academy of Business Leadership Program. He currently serves on the Big Brothers / Big Sisters of Greater Miami Impact Circle Steering Committee and as a Big Brother to Luke.
