- Georgetown McDonough requires all applications to be received by 5pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on the deadline date to be considered for that round.
- The Georgetown McDonough School of Business will grant an application fee waiver to those candidates who are active duty, reservists, or veterans of the United States military, as well as for those candidates who are Management Leadership for Tomorrow (MLT) Fellows and members of the Consortium for Graduate Study in Management. This application fee waiver will occur automatically when you submit your application.
- International students are encouraged to apply by the Round 2 Deadline to allow ample time to complete the U.S. visa process.
- Applicants are strongly encouraged to apply as early as possible especially international students and those candidates seeking merit-based financial aid consideration.
- To formally accept an offer of admission, a single $2,000 deposit is required to reserve your seat in the class.

Georgetown McDonough wants to hear your story. When responding to our required essays, be authentic and take time to reflect on your goals and past experiences. Craft a response that explains how these experiences led you to pursue an MBA.
- Describe a defining moment when you were challenged and exceeded expectations.” The moment can be a professional or personal one. If personal, then please also include how it had an impact on your professional development. (500-word limit)
- Video Essay: Georgetown McDonough asks that you introduce yourself to your cohort in one minute or less. The Admissions Committee would like for you to appear in person during part of your video, and strongly encourages you to speak outside of the experiences we can read on your resume. - Please upload it to an accessible website (such as Youtube, Vimeo, Youku, or Tudou), and submit the direct video URL into your online application.
